Allah mujhe dard ke
Qaabil bana diya
Toofan ko hi kashti ka
Sahil bana diya.

Oh god, you have made me capable of bearing pain.
You have even made the storm itself
The only shore of my this boat.

Bechainiya samet ke sare jahaan ki
Jab kuch na ban saka
Toh mera dil bana diya.

Collecting all the uneasiness of the whole world,
When you turned out to make nothing with it,
You decided to made my heart.

O saathi tere bina,
Raahi ka raah dikhe ne,

Oh saathi tere bina, haan,
Saahil dhuaan dhuan.

Oh my companion, without you this passenger (me) is not able to see my pathway.
Oh buddy, without you my pathway is so unclear & foggy.

Aankhein moonde
Toh jaane kise dhoondhein
Ke soya jaaye na, ke soya jaaye na,

Kis se dhoonde
Yeh khahishon ki boondein
Ke soya jaaye naa, ke soye jaye na.

Maano nindiya piroya jaaye na
Maano nindiya piroya jaaye na.

When I close my eyes, I don’t know who they search for,
That it doesn’t let me sleep,
Look for who?  These drops of wishes,
I’m not able to sleep,
Seems like, I’m not able to take a nap.

Bechainiyan samet ke saarey jahaan ki
Jab kuch na ban saka toh mera dil bana diya.
